Adelphi Academy of Brooklyn Head of School Iphigenia Romanos

Iphigenia Romanos joined Adelphi Academy of Brooklyn in 2005 and continues to lead the school in the position of head of school and chief executive officer. She holds several additional leadership positions at the school, while her past roles include coordinator of the lower and middle schools and classroom teacher. As head of school, Iphigenia Romanos is responsible for all educational and financial operations of the Adelphi Academy of Brooklyn, ranging from curriculum development and design to admissions and enrollment management.

Throughout her career in education, Iphigenia Romanos has established affiliations with professional organizations. She is a member of Independent School Management, the Association of Curriculum and Development, and the National Association of Secondary School Principals, among other professional memberships.

Iphigenia Romanos studied business administration with a marketing focus at Bernard Baruch College. She continued her education at the City University of New York, as a doctoral student in education curriculum and design. She also holds a graduate degree in childhood education and a post-master advanced certificate in educational leadership. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in Special Education.
